All details:

1st day:

Directions to this crossing of the Kitzbüheler Alpen: via Kirchberg i.T. and Aschau to the large car park at the end of the Spertental. Those who arrive late may stay overnight at the Oberland hut ("Oberlandhütte") for the first night.
 
The first destinations are the Spießnägel which are 550 meters higher. Along the beautiful ridge you will continue hiking to the Schöntaljoch and then to the Große Rettenstein at an altitude of 2,366 meters. The upper section requires surefootedness. Thanks to its unique position the Rettenstein offers a fantastic panorama: The eternally snowcapped peaks of the Hohe Tauern, the Kitzbüheler Horn and the Wilder Kaiser are vying for the favour of the beholder. Descending via the Schöntal which is lined with larchs to the Labalm. Guests get a real taste of Harald Klingsbigl’s home cooking at highest level; especially popular are his special “Bauernbratl” (farmer’s roast) and the “Knödelteller” (dumpling dish).

2nd day:

The path leads from Labalm to the Gerstinger Joch. Descending from the Hintenkarscharte and the Scheibenschlagalm down to the Steinberghaus, where you should really try Michael Graftl’s herbal parfait. In the evening, amongst others, you can try the delicate chamois escalope with plum sauce or the pink deer back on rosemary juice.

3rd day:

The path continues in westward direction to the Leitneralm up to the Lodron at an altitude of 1,925 meters. From here you have again a beautiful view to the Grossglockner and Co. Descending from the Lodronalm to the  Fuchswirt  in the Kelchsau. You should treat yourself with an extensive bonnet awarded menu and an overnight stay for the efforts of the past three days. The starting point can best be reached by taxi, the journey takes about 30 minutes.

4th day:

Those who have not had enough can continue the tour on the next day in direction Schwaigberghorn and Wildkarspitze and then hike to the Gasthof Moderstock.
