Awarded hotels and restaurants in our region

Not only for innkeepers but first of all enjoyable for our guests!

We are happy to present our regions' awarded children's and ski hotels and the restaurants who got "one chef's hat" from the gourmet guide Gault Millau.
 
They all have one in common: Outstanding achievements earn special awards and guarantee high quality!


Familotel Hopfgarten

Germany's leading travel agency TUI has awarded the Brixentaler Herberge with the Holly Award. The press release says following: "Therefore it belongs to the best hotels of the world". This award is based on the largest customer survey in the tourist branch, made by TUI.


Landhaus Margarethe

Landhaus Margarethe is the big winner with the ranking of the top 10 "Hall of Fame"  ski hotels on the international known platform: HRS

Restaurant s´Platzl - awarded with "two chef's hats"

This restaurant in Hopfgarten has year 2010 been awarded with "two chef's hats". It got 15  points from the Austrian restaurant guide Gault Millau.

Johanna Steinwender-Müllers food is excellent and fresh with a Mediterranean and Asian touch in a modern and chic furnished café-restaurant in the centre of Hopfgarten. The small assortment of food is well deliberated and the friendly service recommend fine Austrian and Italian wines at reasonable prices.
 

Gasthof Fuchswirt - awarded with "one chef's hat"

This restaurant has been awarded with "one chef's hat" this year. It has got 13 points from the Austrian restaurant guide Gault Millau.
 
The Fuchswirt in Kelchsau started with young tenants in a new culinary life. This ancient inn with its ambience of a hunting lodge places the visitor in another world. Old dark timber, a tiled stove and deer antlers make a cosy atmosphere.
